What a wonderful response. A huge thank you to the children of  ZŠ Bystřice n.P., Nádražní 615 in Czech republic.

We have been overwhelmed by the efforts and generosity of children from around the world and are truly grateful for the support.

So far, donations such as yours have allowed us to deploy over AUD$1 million towards nationwide emergency wildlife responses to help rescue and care for our injured animals, and we are continuing to work around the clock to provide funds and support where they are needed most.

Whilst the fires are still burning, donations received so far have helped to:

• Kangaroo Island, South Australia: provide urgent wildlife rescue and care for glossy black cockatoo and Kangaroo Island dunnart recovery.
• Zoos Victoria: support specialist veterinarians to assess injured wildlife and provide care and medical treatment.
• Queensland: deploy koala detection dogs to help search for surviving koalas in bushfire affected areas.
